What is the standard return policy for Eio.com products?
Products sold by Eio.com are supported by our Standard Return Policy unless otherwise indicated. Merchandise covered by our Standard Return Policy may be returned within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund or replacement. All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Because many companies offer additional factory coverage, you should contact the manufacturer directly for information regarding eligibility and specific Terms and Conditions.
Does Eio.com offer a money-back guarantee?
Eio.com allows most products to be returned for a refund within 30 days of the invoice date. Other exceptions may be noted on our website. A 15% restocking fee will apply for all refunds of non-defective products.
Will Eio.com test parts or assemble a system using the components I purchase?
Sorry, Eio.com does not build, assemble or test computer components.
Can Eio.com advise me of whether the components I am purchasing are compatible?
We offer only limited technical assistance. We also do not offer advice on compatibility of items. We sell ONLY individual Hardware and Software items. We are not technicians, only quality retailers with low prices. Please contact the manufacturers for accurate answers to your technical questions.
The price of an item I purchased has dropped prior to shipment. Is it possible to get a refund of the difference?
Eio.com does not offer any price guarantee, because industry prices change too often and too fast. If your order has not shipped, you can cancel the order online and re-order to take advantage of the new prices. All prices are as posted at the time of purchase.

What is the return policy for CPUs? How does the CPU return policy work?

OEM CPUs:

  • Refund period: Non-refundable
  • Replacement period: 30 days from original invoice date
Retail CPUs:
  • Refund period: Non-refundable
  • Replacement period: 30 days from original invoice date

Additional CPU Warranty Terms

  • All defective and DOA CPUs will be replaced upon return.
  • Eio.com will not cross-ship replacement CPUs.
  • Physically damaged CPUs cannot be returned to Eio.com, including physical damage due to improper installation.
Physical damage to any product will void the product's warranty. Improper installation of CPU fans and/or improper clocking may cause CPUs to chip. CPUs that are chipped, burnt or have bent pins are considered physically damaged and cannot be returned for refund or replacement. Physical damage includes but is not limited to improper handling and/or any other type of damage sustained by irregular usage.

Eio.com encounters bent pins regularly when inspecting physically damaged CPUs. Forcing a processor into position will not solve an installation problem and may result in applicable warranty coverage being voided.

Because Intel and AMD do not accept physically damaged processors, Eio.com will return any physically damaged CPU to you at your expense.
What are the differences between the OEM and retail versions of a product?
Retail versions may come with additional accessories, retail packaging, bundled software and warranty coverage. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), White Box and Brown Box versions include the product and sometimes the drivers. They are packaged generically and do not include software.
Can Eio.com Customer Support agents physically obtain a product and describe it to me?
Because our inventory is stored in our warehouses, our agents cannot physically get a hold of any product to describe it for you. All product information we have is displayed on our website.
How can I obtain a price, stock or shipping quote from Eio.com?
All products, pricing and availability are updated each time you refresh your web page. All ordering, price quotes, stock status and shipping quotes may be acquired online or by phone.
Does Eio.com offer any technical support or advice?
Eio.com does not offer any technical assistance. Please contact the manufacturers for accurate answers to your technical questions and for insight on how different products interact together.
The advertised price of a product is significantly lower than it appears on the site. How can I purchase the product at the advertised price?
Prices and availability of products are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected when and where discovered by Eio, but Eio reserves the right to refuse any order, revoke any published offer and correct any errors or inaccuracies, including those discovered subsequent to the submission of an order, and whether or not your credit card has been charged. If your credit card has been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Eio will issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge. Please note that the policies of your credit card issuer will determine when this amount is credited to your account. Eio does not warrant or make any representation about the substance, quality, functionality, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability or any other representation about any third party site or its contents.
