Certified to Mini DisplayPort 1.1 standards, it supports 10.8 Gbps to support resolutions of up to 2560x1600, crystal-clear digital sound and has a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Please note: This cable can only connect a Mini DisplayPort source to a DisplayPort display. It will not work with a DisplayPort source to a Mini DisplayPort display. These 1.1 DisplayPort cables support a single video source. For reference, version 1.2, as it occurs in the future, will support multiple video streams for such devices that require the additional bandwidth.
