Installing one-piece compression right angle F connectors just got easier. No more uncertainty when inserting the cable into the connector. No more collapsed center pins. No more wasted connectors and rework time on the job.

With the patented InSITE™ Technology feature, now standard on all IDEAL F right angle (90°) compression connectors, field termination of these blind entry connectors is simpler, faster and now provides a higher performance connection for all coax video applications.

The InSITE window is a 360° clear window which allows the installer to verify that the prepped cable has been inserted far enough into the connector to make contact with the fixed pin-before the connector is compressed.

All IDEAL compression connectors require a ¼” x ¼” industry standard coax preparation. The prepped cable is then inserted into the connector until the folded braiding is visible within the InSITE window. No measuring, no jacket marking, no guesswork – a confident connection every time.

The IDEAL RTQ™ series of F connectors offer a single connector solution to cover a range of coax types. A patented compression sleeve design allows Regular (dual), Tri, and Quad shield cables all to be terminated within a single connector. All RTQ connectors have an all brass exterior and an inner O-ring to provide a robust, weather proof connection suitable for just about any application - indoors or outdoors.

RG 59/6/6Q sized connectors are available for use in applications and installations from 5MHz to 3GHz, including CATV, satellite, HDTV and other A/V based applications. An internal sealing compression sleeve prevents moisture from entering the backside of the connector and aides in cable retention

All RTQ™ connectors require an industry standard ¼” x ¼” cable preparation and are permanently attached to the cable when using an IDEAL OmniSeal™ Pro XL and Linear X™3 compression tool.

RTQ™ design allows Regular/Tri/Quad shield cables to work in a single connector – no need to carry cable specific connectors

Right angle design allows for better cable routing options behind devices and from wallplates

Designed for use in cable and satellite TV installations

WeatherProof™ - internal O-ring and patented back seal prevent moisture migration for indoor/outdoor use

Return loss: >25dB up to 1 GHz; >18dB up to 3 GHz

All brass, with nickel plated bodies

Designed for optimal performance on 75Ω coaxial cables

Frequency range: 0 MHz to 3 GHz

>40 pounds cable retention on all models

7/16” nut diameter with 3/8-32 thread

The 90° compression connectors are the only IDEAL connectors that require the 30-793 compression tool to be adjusted.

Compression tool instructions:

Loosen the locknut by turning the post counterclockwise with a flathead screwdriver.

With the handle in the closed position, lower the post with the screwdriver until the top of the post is even with the bottom adjustment line of the tool.

Tool is now set for 90° connectors. Will compress against the top spring clip level.

To reset tool to default position, close handle and raise post to the middle (longest) adjustment mark.

Retighten locknut by hand, then secure it with a clockwise turn of the post.
