The APOLLO 300Watt is the 2nd model released in Athena Power's Micro SFX series, it has increased overall performance and maintains its green efficient standard. Featuring a Smart Fan Speed Controller and with its reduced noise and ripple features, this power supply was designed especially for E-machine, HP, IBM, Compaq, and Gateway PCs.
The Micro SFX Design
Micro SFX power supplies are known mostly as a replacement power supply, but it has now evolved and can be used for mini-ATX cases, custom built computers, mini-servers, and more. The APOLLO 300 Watt power supply will support the most current ATX motherboards V2.2 and lower. Its PCI-E 6-pin connector supports an additional VGA card. This PSU is ideal for custom-built PCs, mini-servers, and HTPCs.
Smart Auto Fan Speed Controller
Thermal fan speed control it will detect the amount of heat generated by the computer. Using this controller to detect the heat levels, it will automatically adjust the fan speed accordingly and the need to worry about the heat levels, of a PSU, becomes almost non-existent.
