You can use the Velleman MK132 Cable Polarity Checker minikit to check your wiring for opens, shorts or polarity. This Velleman minikit is ideal to use for checking your speaker polarity or wire identification. The mainboard’s test leads attach to one end of your wiring and the remote board’s test leads attach to the other end to complete the circuit. Press the on board button for operation and the LEDs on the mainboard will light indicating the status of the wiring. The mainboard has red LEDs to indicate an open, short or inverted polarity. A green LED will light to indicate the polarity is OK. The Velleman MK132 is a low power circuit and operates on a 9V battery. Note: Do no use this Minikit to test live wires.
