DEWALT welded stainless steel joint knives are designed and manufactured using nearly 20-years of input from professional finishers. Precision polished stainless steel blade and handle provides corrosion resistance and easy cleanup. A hollow-ground blade provides proper flex midway up the blade (versus near the handle) for optimum blade control, fast application rates and smooth, professional finishes. An extra-long tang extends past the hang hole internally for added strength. The blade is robotically welded to the handle at 3 points of contact: where the blade meets the handle, mid tang and at the end of the tang. A curved surface where the blade meets the handle provides additional weld strength.
