Cutting edge hardness (approx. 64 HRC). Low friction double spring for gentle and even opening. Cutting capacity - up to 3/64" for soft wire, up to 3/64" for medium, up to 1/32" for hard and up to 1/64" for piano wire. With bevel and lead catcher, no uncontrolled loss of cut wire ends. High-grade special tool steel, forged, multi stage oil-hardened.
