Description

Athena Power RM-2U2123HE is a 2U 12-bay rack mount storage chassis. It features a mini-SAS 6Gb/s backplane and three mini-SAS SFF8087 internal connectors to support 12 x 3.5" or 2.5" SATA/SAS HDD hot-swappable.

Compatible with Athena Power 2U Power Supply

This rack mount chassis is compatible with Athena Power 2U power supply unitsfrom 800W and higher.

12-port  mini-SAS 6Gb/s Backplane

This chassis features a 12-port mini-SAS 6Gb/s backplane which supports 12 x 3.5" or 2.5" SATA/SAS HDD Hot-swappable and 3 x mini-SAS SFF8087 internal connecotrs. The data transfer rate is up to 10Gb/s (Relies on hard drive and RAID controller data transfer rate).

Furthermore, each of HDD carrier supports EMI (up to 8K) and anti-vibration. It also features LED indicators (Power / Data Access / Overheat) and metal key-lock for additional hard drives protection.

Motherboard Compatibilty

Compatible with standard Mini-ITX, MicroATX, Standard ATX, and E-ATX motherboards.

3 x Full-height Expansion Slot

Allows additional cards, such as a RAID controller or HBA cards.

Cooling System

3 x 80mm high CFM DC fans at chassis center provide the better ventilation for system cooling.
