Rod Size of twenty-two mm ISO (International Standards Organization) 2.5 thread Pitch in mm, High Speed, Right Hand Cut Bolt dies are designed to be compatible in RIDGID Universal Die Heads (Nos. 531, 541 and 500B 1/4 -1 inch Die Heads). The Die Heads can be mounted onto several different threading machines also from RIDGID The Dies in the head can be easily changed and if the Die Head is mounted to a machine the Die Head does not need to be removed from the machine for die changes. Dies have notches designed into them that will click into position inside the die head with its spring balls that catch the die and allow the operator to easily know when the dies are correctly installed in the Universal Die Head. And the die blades are designed with a two-step cut method which provides a very stable bite into the pipe, allowing any external coating to be removed as the pipe is cut at the same time. Dies from RIDGID are marked for easy identification with the size of rod and thread pitch they are designed to cut. Dies are crafted from tool steel and designed for right hand thread cutting.
