Description

The RIDGID 700-BSPT-KIT (14141) Hand-Held Power Drive for Pipe Threading, with 1/2" to 2" BSPT Die Heads, 115V/13A, is designed to provide power for threading pipe and conduit. Forward and Reverse rotation can be selected with a reversible switch.

The 700 Power Drive has proven to be the industry workhorse in hand-held power drives for decades and has been the most powerful and durable on the market. Constructed with a rugged cast aluminum housing, the 700 Power Drive is designed for heavy-duty applications and everyday use. It is ideal for mechanical, electrical and plumbing contractors as it can cut both right and left-hand threads in seconds -- saving time, effort, and money.

The 700 Power Drive is designed to use 12-R Die Heads for 1/8 in. to 2 in. pipe capacity (1/2" to 2" die heads included); it can also thread bolts from 1/4 in. to 1 in. Other die heads such as the 00-R and 11-R series can be used with adapters (sold separately).

When threading 1 in. or larger pipe, a support device, such as the No. 775 Support Arm or a RIDGID 14 in. heavy duty pipe wrench (both sold separately), is required to resist the threading forces.

The versatility of the 700 Power Drive is further expanded by being able to power the RIDGID 258 and 258XL Power Pipe Cutters (sold separately). In addition, the RIDGID 774 Square Drive Adapter (sold separately) can be used to adapt the 700 Power Drive to turn a male 15/16" square.
