Description
The RIDGID 122XL 230V (14388) Copper Cutting and Prep Machine Only, 1/2 in. to 4 in. Capacity, 300 RPM, 230V, is designed to cut, clean, ream and deburr copper and stainless steel tubing and fittings quickly and professionally. Weighing only 72 lbs (32.7 kg) and possessing a conveniently located carrying handle, the Model 122XL is ideal for transport directly to the job site. The rugged cast aluminum housing and powerful 1/3 HP induction motor ensure a long life.
Cutting is performed by turning the tubing with motor-driven rollers while a cutter wheel is manually actuated by a rack and pinion. An adjustable cutting handle accommodates different diameter tubes and a scale is included for tube measurement. A reamer (sold separately) can remove burrs from the inside of the tubing, while a brush (sold separately) cleans the external surface in preparation for joining. The machine can also clean the inside of fittings using individually sized brushes (sold separately) that are attached to the quick-change adapter. A deburring disk (sold separately) can clean burrs from the outside surface of the tubing.
Please note that the 122XL Copper Cutting and Prep Machine is not designed for use with pipe.
