Create your own 5x5x5 white LED cube with the Velleman K8018W LED Cube Kit. You can download and use the free Velleman software to program and create your own 3D effects through a USB connection or select from the pre-loaded effects. The Velleman DIY 5x5x5 cube is a two-board kit with 125 LEDs that require assembly and soldering. There are surface mount components, too, so expert soldering skills are needed. No programming skills are required to program your K8018W. With the free software you can create, edit or remove your own animation programs. There are 3200 frames available and you can choose from four transition speeds and five levels of dimming for individual frames.
