Made with of Genuine Extru-Lite magnesium which is 30% lighter than similar straightedges. Quality material won't rust extending the life and use of tool. This straightedge is built for strength and rigidity, but lightweight enough for the largest of jobs. A special design comes to a point to allow for ease and accuracy in inspection of slabs. This sturdy highway straightedge and checking tool is lightweight enough to easily maneuver around large slabs. The 10' tool is moves along large slabs. The blade is 2-1/4" tall blade for proper coverage. Plastic end caps extend the life of the tool by eliminating the opportunity for concrete and other materials to build-up within the blade. Braces extend from the blade up to the handle for balance and straightness. Quick release pins on the braces allow for ease in set up and breakdown of the tool. The braces connect to a collar for easy tool adjustments. A threaded handle socket connect the handle and blade. The bracket adjusts 180° to go back and forth along a job. The toothed bracket tightens to set and keep a desired angle. A 12' x 1-3/4" magnesium threaded handle (CC229) completes the tool. Use with handle adapters for use with a button handle. Must ship via truck due to length.
