Thames & Kosmos 640132 CHEM C3000 (V 2.0)

This set comes with more chemicals than anything else I've ever seen. The manual has more than 300 experiments and it's easy to understand. My kids recently had some chemistry/periodic table stuff in school and this has helped them expand on that and learn about chemistry in an easy and fun way.

I like this set a lot, the glass is good quality. You do have to get a few things not included in the set, but once done, the experiments went well. The instructions were really good too, very happy with this set, I'd go wit this over the smaller sets.

This is a good starter set, there are a few items I replaced with higher quality things once we got going, but what you get is a good start. Good instructions and an excellent foundation for science. I should also note, and doublecheck this, but hydrochloric acid is the same thing as muriatic acid. You can really learn some great stuff here.

Great chemistry set, it really has it all!
