Description
With the Velleman K8096 1-Channel USB stepper motor card you can drive 1 stepper motor through the USB port of your computer. It’s suitable for bipolar motors and can be used for positioning applications such as plotters, printers, valves or your own unique automation project. The motor current is adjustable with a trimmer potentiometer and the circuit has over current protection sensing. The K8096 has 1 logic open collector output and 5 dry contact inputs you can monitor and assign actions if needed, for example an emergency stop signal or current limit detection. Velleman provides functional test utility software and also a DLL (Dynamic Link Library) file is available for download so that you can write your own custom software.
