Induction hardened cutting edges (approx. 62 HRC) for cutting soft and hard wire. Cuts materials like bolts, nails, rivets, etc. up to 5/32" dia. for hard wire. Exceptional cutting performance with minimum effort because of lever action design. Gripping surface below the joint for gripping and pulling wires with a diameter from 3/64". Recess in the blade allows easier cutting of thicker wires, the wire won't slip out. Chrome vanadium heavy-duty steel; forged, multi stage oil-hardened.
